Dominiq Oti is an Architectural Designer, Spatial Practitioner working in London and New York.

Dominiq affirms the position that architecture is a vocation that exists as part of a constellation of other creative and artistic pursuits. There are practical and reverential ways that Dominiq chooses to interpret his approach to works.

The intermediary spaces in our cities and towns are just as important as the Architecture that crowns them. Products and objects operating at multiple scales are extensions of the human body to help us function in innovative and useful ways.

Designing a purpose-built space to view art, or to ingratiate ourselves in an experience, offers a heightened version of life beyond the presence of the mundane. We elevate our lives to inspire ourselves to do more. Not in the pursuit of greed and sole self interest, but rather as a nodal point of connection.

Architecture in daily life is the inescapable art form that sets the stage for us to engage in physical and immaterial interactions, fictions and realities, and a way to read the world that can at times, be revelatory.

Context is always shifting, continually redefining the parameters that ground inspiration. Dominiq uses these evolving conditions as tools throughout the process, allowing him to localize each project in a meaningful way.

Dominiq holds a Bachelor of Architecture (ARB) from Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK and a Master of Architecture (NAAB) from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
